The most expensive mistake in Class 36
A fintech splits into three classes and almost always registers only one. The financial service, which is lending, paying or insuring, is class 36. The cloud platform that makes it possible is class 42. The app the customer downloads is class 9. Registering class 36 alone protects the service and leaves the technology product exposed, and that is usually the asset the company actually sells.
