What Class 22 does NOT protect

These look similar but belong to another class. Choosing wrong is the most common reason a trademark protects less than its owner believes.

The most expensive mistake in Class 22

In class 22 material and function cross, which is why it confuses. Rope is class 22, but a metal rope is class 6 and a guitar string class 15; a packaging bag is class 22 if made of cloth, but class 16 if paper or plastic and class 18 if leather. An outdoor equipment brand usually needs class 22 for the tent and class 28 for the rest of the sporting gear.
