What Class 11 does NOT protect

These look similar but belong to another class. Choosing wrong is the most common reason a trademark protects less than its owner believes.

The most expensive mistake in Class 11

Class 11 requires a source of heat, cold, light or water built into the apparatus. The same grill is class 11 if it is electric and class 21 if it burns charcoal; the household lamp is class 11, but the laboratory lamp or the signalling light is class 9. A kitchen or lighting brand usually needs class 11 and class 21 together.
